Silent Disco Birthday!

Ever since moving to LA in 2015 I’ve been dyin’ to figure out ways to throw dance parties. I love dancing and I love Corey’s DJing (hear some of it HERE). The issues back then were space, noise, and not having enough friends. This year I finally felt ready, so we signed up for Joymode, an incredible subscription service where we rented the silent disco setup from, and Caroline let us throw the party at Light Lab. Corey DJ’d, Jake helped me setup a photobooth, and it was perfect. Oh, and I asked my friends to come dressed in a monochromatic outfit. People really pulled through on that one. If you’re wondering what a Silent Disco is, it’s where the music doesn’t play out loud on a speaker, people just hear the music in their headphones. Hearing people dance and sing without the music to accompany them was hilarious. Huge thank you to everyone who came and danced, it was everything I could have dreamed of and I’m ready for more.
